Eclipse

When the moon appears red, mortals call this an eclipse. They believe that it is just the moon and sun crosses over each other and nothing else. They are partially true but little do they know what the moon and sun are really doing. I, the moon goddess, ask for nothing but to for my disgusting brother, Huitzilopotchli to leave me alone. He has already caused me so much grief yet he continues to bother me. When mortals see this eclipse, it is actually my brother being his selfish self trying to rule over night as if having the whole day isn’t enough. He has not been able to defeat me and I will make sure that he never will. Hutzilopotchtli covers me but my bright moonlight never can be completely conquered.

War

I watch as innocent mortals die every day. War is such a horrible thing. It is silly that is for no good use yet mortals and gods are constantly in the middle of it. It is even worse for mortals. So many of them are killed and many don’t even want to be at war. Violence never fixes anything and almost always just creates a bigger problem. It kills me to watch all of these men die for really no good reason at all, especially with wives and children at home. Hopefully in the near future war can be ended permanently
